This is just a quick update (although I am not sure if anyone reads this). Thank you to all those who have donated. Both Annika and I are so happy and excited to see this donation registry up and running. O well, two and a bit more weeks to go to the wedding. Time to get back to organising it. See you!
When we decided to get married, one Bible passage came to our mind - Luke 14: 12-14. Basically, it teaches us that in a banquet we should invite those who are less fortunate and cannot repay the favour back. In another word, to share the joy with those less fortunate. However, most people we know are quite fortunate, and it will be weird to invite those that we dont know. So, we decided to do the next best thing and donate all our wedding gifts to others. It has not been an easy task, but here we are, the donation registry. Whatever you were planning to buy for us as gifts, just donate that money to my beneficiaries. Simple. Thank you so much for helping us to fulfill our dream of helping those in need.
