Hospice Big Ride
Support Jim Sonerson in his Hospice Big Ride to raise funds for Hospice .Donations go to support anyone with a terminal illness.

My name is Jim Sonerson , 86 years old cancer survivor.
To help raise funds for Warkworth/ Wellsford Hospice I intend riding my cycle 1000 kms on rollers for 5 hours a day non stop for 5 days at 40 kms per hour starting on 9th October and finishing at the Warkworth kowhai Festival on 13th October.
All donations will go to help the day to day operations at Hospice.

1000 kms completed . Finished ride in 23 hours 40 min 58 secs., My average speed for the whole ride was 42.74 kph. Went through some dark stages during the ride with the hardest parts getting my head in the right space to finish. Body fairly shattered and a very sore butt . Well worth it though.
