Raising awareness for male-teen suicide in New Zealand

Canterbury

On the 16th of January 2019 i lost a beautiful soul, a friend and someone i considered my brother.

As men, we are taught and told that showing our emotions isn't manly and makes us weak, that we should always be tough and let nothing bother us and never ask for help. But this needs to change. WE NEED TO TALK! and shouldn't be afraid to do so. It is manly to talk about how your feeling, it is masculine to ask for help, This is what young men should be taught when growing up.

This year i have decided to participate in the 14km City 2 Surf run in Christchurch to pay tribute to a fallen brother and spread awareness about male-teen suicide in New Zealand
