Multiple Sclerosis Auckland is a charity providing support for people with MS and their families. Having been diagnosed with MS in 2012 I was very grateful with the practical support they give/continue to give me. They have provided me with the tools to start living with and recovering from M.S.
On the 1st March I will be participating in the 6km run division of The Coastal Challenge. I started running in May 2013 having never run before. I chose the CC as it provided challenges akin to some of the challenges faced by MS suffers: difficulties coping with heat (running at midday) balance issues (uneven ground requires balance to navigate).
