290,000 kiwi kids live in poverty. Give as little or much as you like. It will give me the warm and fuzzies for my birthday

Wellington

Hi,

I am turning 50 and generally have everything I need. Kids in New Zealand are living in poverty in a society when there should be plenty for everyone. Instead of birthday presents I would like to have money donated to charity instead.

290,000 kiwi kids live in poverty. Every little you give will help change the future for these kids. The first 1000 days of your life affect your health and well being for the rest of your life. KidsCan is helping Kiwi kids living in hardship reach their full potential and create brighter

futures for themselves. They provide Kiwi kids in need with food, clothing and health items at school, so they can get into the classroom in a position to learn. KidsCan does this because we believe that education equals opportunity, and all children, regardless of their social economic background should have an equal chance.
