Attempting to run a half marathon in less than two months for Bowel cancer NZ.

Auckland

Hey guys I need your help! I’ve decided to run a half marathon in Auckland on the 20th of October. This is an insane idea as my fitness levels are at an all time low, have little time to train and have spent the last seven weeks partying and being a bum. For some crazy reason this has always been something I’ve wanted to attempt and as I don’t enjoy running that much it will be one of my biggest challenges yet. With that in mind I thought why not run for an extremely good cause. In honour of my great uncle Sir Douglas Myers, I will be running(hopefully) for the Bowel Cancer New Zealand.

•Bowel Cancer is the second highest cause of cancer death in New Zealand.

•More than 3,000 New Zealanders are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year.

•Bowel cancer is treatable and beatable. In fact, more than 75% of bowel cancers are curable if detected early.

Please support me and Bowel Cancer New Zealand but donating and raising awareness.

*I can also guarantee there will be some extremely entertaining and embarrassing photos as a result of my attempt to complete a half marathon.
