Mercy Hospice Leap for Life is back for 2020, and this year they tell me they have turned up the heat...and height with the highest commercial skydive available in New Zealand!

Now there’s many crazy things I have done in this lifetime so far however I swore you’d never see me jump out of a plane, ever. Well that ole cliche ‘never say never’ comes to mind I guess coz somehow back in December during a volunteer fundraising meeting I found my hand above my head signalling I’d get on board this fundraiser and take the leap 😅 and well hey, life is for living - right!?!

So I’m gonna need some kind of incentive or it’s possible I’ll chicken out. The only thing that will make this challenge even slightly palatable for a retired daredevil like me is knowing that by doing so, that by taking this leap for life and flailing myself out of a perfectly good plane hurtling toward earth at 200km+/hr freefalling for longer than I’d like to be is that I’ll have you all backing me (or egging me on 😳) and we can collectively do some real good in this world.

All funds raised to coerce me into gearing up for this crazy challenge will go to the incredible care that Mercy Hospice Auckland provides for so many beautiful people in need during the most challenging time of their lives.
