I've combined my drive to push myself and my desire to help Kidney Kids. Help me fundraise for this worthwhile cause!

A dear family friend has endured a long journey at Starship going through her 1st transplant at 13 and then the second on about 15 years later. Over the years, we visited her many times and realized what a great job Kidney Kids do for unfortunate children.

Combining my crazy drive to push myself in endurance events and my desire to help this amazing organisation, came the idea to join the Tour Aotearoa 2020 and to raise money for this worthwhile cause!

I have completed some amazing events but this might top them all (not getting any younger)!

My goal is to mountain bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff, self supported and 60% off road in 30 days.

Finishing off my long ride that wasn't able to complete due to Covid lockdown  15 January 2021

Sadly I wasn't able to complete my Tour Aotearoa as had to go back to Auckland for the 1st covid lockdown.

So planning on carrying on from Wakefeild in late March 2021

1200 km and approx 12000 meters of climb to go.

Am allowing 2 weeks to complete the ride.

Would love to also reach my Givealittle goal for Kidney Kids
