Raising funds and awareness for fatherless boys

Auckland

I am organising an event at Ambury Regional Park, Mangere on 26 November from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. There will be spectacular fire safety displays, big truck rides, digger, fire engines, Kung Fu and Kick Boxing personalities, an 8 piece amusement park, including climbing tower, self drive jeeps, bouncy castle, horizontal bungee, chair o planes and more. Great activities for families and fatherless boys. Good male role models will be there and we will be encouraging good guys to apply to Big Buddy to become mentors for their fatherless boys.

24 November update: Sad to report that Kung Fu ex world champ Martin Lindgreen has had to pull out due to ill health. We wish him all the best for a speedy recovery

Simon Lawrence's involvement (page creator)

Boys who have no father figure in their lives may develop attitude and behavioral problems as they grow up. It's not that their mum or other caregiver is failing, it's just that they may not receive good male guidance in life. I want to support male mentoring of these boys.

Please donate. It's happening soon. Every dollar will go to registered charity Big Buddy to match more Big Buddies with fatherless boys. Let's get together and make a difference to young fellas' lives.
