A group of guys taking on the Longest Day Challenge on the Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere one), to raise funds for cancer research.
Taranaki
The longest day challenge was set up some time ago to support cancer research. Myself, along with friends and colleagues, based in Baku, Azerbaijan, are once again doing the Longest Day Challenge.
4 rounds of golf in one day, on the (Northern Hemisphere) summer solstice, or to be exact, the day after, as this is a Saturday, 22nd of June.
I unfortunately lost a close family member last year who was affected by this horrible disease, and any little bit that can be done to help those affected, and ultimately find a cure, is of a benefit.
Thanks for your donations, large or small. Everything helps, and is greatly appreciated.
Hoping to exceed the $4,500 raised for the Taranaki Hospice last year.
Many of us are affected either directly or indirectly by cancer, and every little bit we can do to help research cures for this disease is a step in the right direction.
