A small effort, raising money for a good cause.

The longest day challenge was set up some time ago to support cancer research. A group of us based in Baku, Azerbaijan, are for the third year doing the Longest Day Challenge.
4 rounds of golf in one day, on the (Northern Hemisphere) summer solstice, Sunday June 21st.
Unfortunately most of us have lost family and friends to this horrible disease, and any little bit that can be done to help those affected, and ultimately find a cure, is of a benefit.
Thanks for your donations, large or small. Everything helps, and is greatly appreciated.
Hoping to exceed the $3.200 raised last year.
Many of us are affected either directly or indirectly by cancer, and every little bit we can do to help research cures for this disease is a step in the right direction.
We’re off 21 June 2020
Unfortunately due to a second COVID outbreak peak in Baku the place is in lockdown again.
Luckily I’m out at the course so still doing it, but unfortunately it’s just me and Kevin.
Still, lucky it’s the middle of summer. Coldest day we’ve had for weeks, 50kph wind, and scattered showers.
