Maddison McKenzie suffered from a rare type of cancer call Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The cancer grows on the brainstem and occurs almost with children.

Maddison was the daughter of Paul McKenzie and Anita Barnett. She was 11 yrs old when she passed away earlier last month. Maddison has had several operations and procedures at the Auckland Star-ship hospital and the family have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House on many occasions. This site is to thank Ronald McDonald House for the support they have given this family over this time and be able to give a little back to Ronald McDonald House

Paul McKenzie works for Envirowaste Services Ltd as a driver for Tauranga Refill branch.
