Nelson City Councillor Matt Lawrey is learning the Tango to raise funds for Nelson Tasman Hospice and he needs your help!

Believe it or not I'm learning the Tango so I can help raise much needed funds for Nelson Tasman Hospice!

With lots of help from my patient dance partner Brooke Silke-Atkins and our great instructor Emma Silke-French, I'm going to be cutting a rug at the Trafalgar Centre on May 26 as part of Dancing for a Cause.

It would be brilliant to see you there and it would also be great if you could chip in here and help the cause. You'd be hard stretched to find a family in our region who hasn't been supported by the Hospice in times of need. This is a great opportunity for us to get behind them and say 'thanks' for the great work they do.

I'm helping to raise money for Nelson Tasman Region Hospice by being one of the contestants in the Dancing for a Cause fundraiser.
