MATES in Construction- 6 days straight fundraiser

Withstand is a fitness platform for mental health awareness, that runs fitness competitions throughout NZ.
The Co-Founders of Withstand Houston Noema & Jonnie Morath will be taking on a challenge to fundraise for MATES in Construction.
MATES in Construction New Zealand was established in 2019 and has one simple but ambitious aim: to reduce the number of lives lost to suicide in the construction industry. It does this in partnership with the industry through quality programmes and education, professional support and research. By igniting hope and strengthening workplace communities across the construction industry, MATES help support an environment that encourages positive well-being for workers and their families.
This event will start of the 3rd- 8th of February.
12 hours on/ 12 hours off, 6 days straight- Row/Ski/Bike/Run
- 12 hour days to represent 12 hour shifts in construction
- 6 days straight represent working overtime in construction
- The boys doing It together represents teamwork and the importance of supporting each other in the challenging situations.
Fundraising goal: $3888
Why? $27 is the average hourly rate for construction workers in NZ. $1944 each for Houston & Jonnie at 72 hour working week.
