Rach is shaving her head!! :o

On my birthday (11 July) I will be chopping off my precious hair!! This is a big deal for anyone who has always had long hair, but everyone who knows me knows that my brightly coloured hair is a huge part of my identity - this is pretty significant for me!

We lost my dad, affectionately known as 'Big Mark' amongst my friends, in Feb 2020 only 5 months after he received his cancer diagnosis. I am so grateful that I was able to travel home, and that my family & I had those very special months together, & the chance to say goodbye. My dad really was really the best sort of person - kind, patient, caring, hilarious and adored by everyone in his life. I miss him every day, and 2 years on I still find myself reaching for my phone to tell him my news, and spontaneously bursting into tears of joy when I hear his favourite songs or when happy memories of him float into my mind.
