In March I’ll be running the Rome 2026 Marathon to raise funds for Cancer Research Trust New Zealand.

Over the past year, cancer has touched people I love and hold incredibly close to my heart. Watching those battles first hand has been heartbreaking. It's shown me just how fragile life is, and how vital research, care and support truly are.

Every kilometre I run is for them - for those still fighting this devastating disease, and for everyone whose lives have been impacted by it.

In Aotearoa, cancer is the second-leading cause of death - and over recent decades nearly 10,000 people sadly pass from cancer each year.
