Running 100km in support of my Nana who has been diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. Join me in raising money for a worthy cause.
Lower Hutt, Wellington
My name is Taylor and I am 9 years old with a passion, energy and drive for running. At only 67 years old my Nana (Dad's mum Janet) was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Brain Cancer - 6 weeks ago. I want to raise funds for Te Omanga hospice who have given my Nana and whanau the best care so far.
Dad (Brett) will be joining me and we want to run 100km each for the month of October
100kms ✅ 31 October 2025
This morning Taylor and Brett completed each of their 100km by running around Nana's happy place - The Royal Wellington Golf course. It was a beautiful morning with no wind and they got out before the first tee time so had a quiet course.
They were joined by Pops, cousin Luca, Mum (Erica), Ruby, Millie, Nanny Jen, Sam Govind and Tony Houpt for the final run down the 18th hole to tick off 100km.
We celebrated Nana's life yesterday and everyone was very generous towards this fundraiser and supporting Te Omanga. To those of you that couldn't make it yesterday, Thank you so much for all of your support to help us reach this unbelievable total.
We will all continue to run with Nana in our Hearts.
