Running the Auckland half marathon to raise money for the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand.
To raise money for the Neurological foundation of New Zealand. 98% of profits come from individual donations and bequests.
My family and I have recently been deeply affected by the loss of somebody due to the effects of epilepsy. A lot more research needs to be done in order to help those manage living with this disorder. The Neurological Foundation is the only non-government organisation in New Zealand dedicated to funding neurological research, and 98% of their resources come from individual donations and bequests. One hundred per cent of these individual donations and bequests are used to help fund crucial New Zealand research into neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Huntington's diseases, stroke, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, autism and traumatic brain injury.
Hazel McCulloch's involvement (page creator)
I am running the Auckland half marathon at the end of October. I have recently started running so I won't promise you a fast time! But please get behind the cause and donate to keep me motivated in my training and on the day.
