Support my silly ultra marathon goals by supporting some worthwhile charities!
Wellington
Kia ora all!
I've had the privilege of running all around Aotearoa/New Zealand for the past 6 years and it's given me two things: an utter love and adoration for the magnificent natural beauty and awe-inspiring landscapes around every turn, and a much happier brain.
This July I'm running my silliest (and scariest) race yet in Wellington - the WUU2k 65km ultramarathon. It's 65km (~40 miles) through the hills and trails of a place I love and a casual 2800 meters (9,180 feet) of elevation gain in total. About a quarter of the way up Everest. Yikes.
Since I'm guessing most of you can't make the plane trip to support me in person, or don't want to wait around for hours at an aid station just to see me complain for 2 minutes before I keep running, consider donating just $5 to one of these two worthy charities that celebrate and give back to two things I value greatly, the environment and mental health! Therapy is great, but running is free, and 100x more enjoyable in beautiful places worth protecting.
Ngā mihi and thank you!
