Raising awareness of the struggle families go though when fighting NZ's biggest killer.
Wellington
Over a year ago my Dad - Api Rangihuna was diagnosed with the Big C. This last year has been crazy but watching my parents show their resilience and fight against this deadly disease was nothing less than inspirational. 12 months ago I decided to start growing my hair in recognition and appreciation of the New Zealanders who fight their daily battle against cancer. Shave for a cure to me is not so much about raising funds but about raising awareness of the struggle families go though when fighting NZ's biggest killer. We cannot give enough praise and thanks to the medical staff that provide continuous support for our family on this roller coaster of a journey.
We are grateful for everyday!
Nga mihi,

My family and I cannot give enough praise and thanks to everyone that provided/provides continuous support for our family on this roller coaster of a journey.
