Cancer sucks. Mum died from it & I want to raise some $$$ to help others. Simple. Throw us a $20 & lets make a difference to someones day.

Canterbury

Cancer sucks. Two years ago, on the 20th August Mum lost her brief battle with cancer. This is not an exclusive club. Cancer is an arse and it effects people of all ages and backgrounds. It does not discriminate and could not care less about the people it effects and the lives it changes.

They say, when you lose someone not a day goes by when you don't think of them. And they are right.

Now I am never going to find a cure for cancer, but if I can raise a few hundy hear and there, maybe that will help someone find that cure, or at least make someones else's fight that little bit easier.

This December I am going to participate in the Hanmer Holiday Homes Alpine Marathon (well really the Half Mara). It's been nearly 6 years since I went for a serious run. This ain't going to be easy, but it sure is easier than what those with cancer are battling.

My aim is to break 2 hours. I feel there are some synergies there right. 2 hours, 2 years, its the 20th of August... and if you throw this cause a $20 then it will be just right. Right?
