Marathon for Lifeline

I'll be running the North Shore Marathon in September 2017 to help raise funds for Lifeline New Zealand so that they can continue to provide free support for those contemplating Suicide.

New Zealand has the highest rate of teen suicide in the developed world. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for Māori males and the second leading cause of death for non-Māori males

Lifeline's 24/7 helpline, suicide crisis helpline - 0508 TAUTOKO and Kidsline receive no Government funding and are reliant on sponsorships, donations and bequests. All funds raised by Lifeline are used directly, to support the provision of their services throughout Aotearoa

This will be my first Marathon so inevitably bloody awful, please make my brief moment of minor suffering worthwhile and help those who really need it.
