Fundraiser for the Mental Health Foundation NZ by Lockdown Legends

Unfortunately, we lost a dear friend earlier this year - James Plunket.

James was an avid music lover, particularly electronic music and was a DJ and event promoter himself for many years - predominantly in the areas of hardhouse, trance and tech house, which is why we're celebrating his life through music this weekend.

Unfortunately people struggling with mental health and ultimately ending their own life is not uncommon in NZ, we have one of the highest suicide numbers in the world per year - particularly in males. Mental health impacts so many of us throughout our own lives in one way or another and our resources in NZ are stretched thin to say the least to help support those truly in need.

So in saying that, please give generously - your donation will go to the NZ Mental Health Foundation, which do a lot of great work assisting and helping those in need, hopefully preventing this 'worst case scenario' our community is still struggling to comprehend.

Rest in peace brother, James.
