Wellington

Following the amazing success of our first campaign, ANZAC Day - Lest we forget, raising $7,820 to support the RSA New Zealand. We bring you the Mahi Aroha campaign, a 5-month commitment to support charities who have and continue to provide an important service to New Zealand.

We kick off the campaign with the organisation that had the highest votes, Womes Refugee! The lockdown and greater social isolation has affected people in different ways non-more so than those in abusive relationships.

Police figures comparing the week before the lockdown show a 22 percent increase in investigations. Mirroring the police figures are those from Women's Refuge, showing a 20 percent increase in calls related to domestic violence.

During these difficult times, we are fortunate to be in a position where many of us can still earn our full income when so many cannot. We now have an opportunity to show our support to those impacted by Covid-19 through a voluntary donation. We have the opportunity to employ Mahi Aroha-giving from our heart to those charities and non-profits who provide important services.
