Tour Aotearoa - riding the length of New Zealand in support of EDS - Environmental Defence Society

David Jones & John Boulton are cycling the length of New Zealand to help protect its natural environment.

Nationwide

They undertaking the Tour Aotearoa brevet which is a self-supported 3,000km bike trail from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

With participation in the brevet, each rider must offset all carbon emissions from transport to and from the event. In addition, each cyclist donates $100 to a charity of choice and are encouraged to raise more for their chosen charity, through sites such as this.

David & John have chosen to raise funds for The Environmental Defence Society (EDS).

EDS is often an unsung hero in the trenches of environmental battles and we are keen to both help raise funds and the profile of the great work that it does. Cycling the length of New Zealand we get to experience up close both the pristine beauty and diversity of our amazing country and some of the degradation of the environment that we have observed, especially over the last 20 years.
