Supporting the Himalayan Trust to transform the lives of those who live in the Everest Region.
Auckland
While life in New Zealand is getting back to normal, unfortunately our friends in Nepal aren’t as lucky. Nepal now has over 9,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with daily new case numbers rising swiftly, despite a nationwide lockdown.
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. Over half the population live on $3 a day or less. Many families often need to walk for hours to reach basic services like safe water, health care and schools. With the ongoing support of New Zealanders, we’re working to change this and transform lives in the Everest region.
I've created an event 'Dine for Nepal'. These dinner events are now sold out. This is a fantastic news for the Himalayan Trust.
This page is set up for those who cannot attend this special event and would like to still help us raise funds for those in need. I call this the 'Virtual Dine for Nepal'.
