Walk for endometriosis New Zealand! and walk this pain away!
Hawke's Bay
I decided to do the Endometriosis challenge this March because I wanted to help raise awareness for endometriosis, as it is not well known. I want to help raise awareness and to educate others about endometriosis, and help raise funds to find treatment for this disease.
Endometriosis has affected me personally. There are so many days I am stuck in bed unable to move, and so many days at work it just randomly hits me with intense crippling pain, at it is not normal and if this is you you shouldn't be suffering in silence.
I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 15 and had my first operation in 2015, and I have had 3 more since 2018, 2020, and one this year in 2022. This invisible disease has rocked me so much mentally and physically. Nothing so far has worked on me, I've just been given drugs and operations to help lower the pain I'm in.
SO me and a group of my friends are walking the Tongariro crossing, on the 26th of March to raise awareness and funds for Endometriosis New Zealand.
Please support me and Endometriosis New Zealand today because we need to find a cure for this disease as it Affects so many women around the world and increases awareness of this disease.
Thanks, heaps for your time! Would mean the world to me if you would be able to show your support and support me and my friends as we walk for endo!!
