Walking Ninety Mile for kidney fundraising and awareness.
Nationwide
Throughout the week of the 8th of November a group of very enthusiastic people will be walking the length of Te Oneroa-a-Tōhe (Ninety Mile Beach) with the goal of raising money and awareness for kidney health in New Zealand.
Our goal is to walk between 20 - 30 kilometres a day, starting from Scott Point and finishing at Ahipara (with a total distance of 88km).
Kidney disease and complications are a cause that affects 1 in 10 New Zealanders and has impacted us and many other families personally.
All proceeds will be donated to the Kidney Health NZ charity.
This event has been created and organised by Sarah and Grant Doak, and is a part of their joint journey to 50.
