Raising money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ by riding a bicycle from Bluff to Nelson, over 7 days starting 27 December 2021.
Invercargill, Southland
As a (slightly older than) middle-aged male, I am hearing too often of friends, colleagues, band mates, cycling acquaintances who have been affected by Prostate Cancer.
Sometimes with OK results, others not so.
I'm thankful that I haven't been affected myself (yet) and am wanting to do what I can to raise some money to help fund research and support that could help the 4000 people that get sick each year.
I've been riding a bicycle for about 20 years now, and during this trip, I'll be doing my longest ride ever, and my second longest, and my third longest!
1100km total including 9700m of climbing. That's more that Everest
I'm asking that you offer a few dollars to help, maybe the value of a coffee, or a craft beer, or a meal out.
Thanks for reading my request
