Running for change in the Construction industry

Hi All

At the start of this year, one of the boys Sam wanted to make a change. One of his mates runs a non-profit organization called FOR ALL THE BROTHERS. This organisation is about bringing awareness to men's mental health; something Sam is passionate about. Their motto is 'We are all in this together, lets be that change'.

Sam came up with the idea to test his own mental and physical strength and endurance... a half marathon. His idea was to make change not only within himself, but encourage others to do the same. He went on the search to find a group of likeminded men. His good mates Deacon, Jamie, Kurt, Morgan, Dave and Vinnie were all equally passionate, and committed to the same challenge.

Not only did they all have the same desire to promote the importance of men's mental health, each one of them worked within the construction industry. They decided what better way to support their purpose and industry, than give all proceeds to the organisation MATES in Construction. This organisation focuses on mental health and suicide prevention within the building industry; a male dominated industry that is in dire need of support.
