Winter Throwdown 2020
CrossFit Central Wellington is hosting it's 7th annual Winter Throwdown competition. We are supporting Wellington Riding for the Disabled.
Wellington
Every Throwdown season we host two CrossFit mixed pairs competitions (an in-house and a Wellington region competition). Our goal every year is to facilitate two fun filled days of CrossFit and support a local charity as chosen by the CrossFit Central Wellington Community.
This year we are supporting NZRDA's Wellington branch.
Wellington Riding for the Disabled (WRDA) mission is to develop confidence, independence and well being for people with disabilities through therapeutic horse related programmes. They have helped hundreds of people who face the challenge of disability to experience the benefits of horse therapy.
Both events will be calling on the speed, strength, endurance and teamwork of each athlete competing. Most of all we will be having a load of fun and if you are not competing we encourage you to come down and support the athletes on the day. Please donate generously if you can.
