A Girl Called Hope

A Girl Called Hope

Bringing Hope - strengthening the resilience, self-esteem and well being of women through residential and community programmes

Auckland

The heart of our approach is a residential programme for young women whose challenges include anxiety, depression, disordered eating, self-harm, suicidal thinking and unplanned pregnancy. It addresses the root causes of the young woman's issues and behaviours and focuses on teaching the young women to understand who they are and how they can become restored physically, psychologically, emotionally, relationally and spiritually.

Our practical and holistic approach to the underlying issues changes more than behaviour - it changes hearts and minds and breaks destructive cycles. Since opening in 2007 A Girl Called Hope has seen many young women integrate back into their communities leading full and healthy lives
