For over a century, the Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai has been supporting Aucklanders in desperate need.

We provide nutritious food for families who are struggling to make ends meet and advocate for lasting solutions to food poverty. We provide shelter and crisis support for people experiencing homelessness. We provide affordable medical care for Auckland's most vulnerable residents.

Our life-changing work would not be possible without the generous support of people like you. Thank you!

More about us

The Auckland City Mission - Te Tāpui Atawhai supports those in desperate need. We provide immediate relief and pathways to enable long-term wellbeing.

The Mission was established in June 1920 to support families in the wake of WW1. The Mission has evolved as the needs of the city’s most vulnerable have changed, and today our three areas of focus are hunger, health and homelessness.
