Brain Injury Central Districts

Brain Injury Central Districts

Our organisation provides information, support, advocacy and education services for Central Districts' people affected by brain injury

Manawatu / Whanganui

We provide people with relevant information, support to access resources and services and advocacy to assist access to resources if required. We also provide social rehabilitation opportunities throughout the year. Another key function of our service is to educate other health professionals and the general public about brain injury, including injury prevention.

Our effectiveness is evident from annual client surveys and also from client contact statistics that are recorded each month. Each year, our Brain Injury Appeal raises awareness including media reports of the assistance received by individuals and families from our service.
