We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all who have given, all who have shared, and everyone that has bought a ticket to the play.

It has been truly humbling to receive all this support and it has made all the difference for The Fence - helping us cross the finish line.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari ke he toa takitini.

Make sure you check out the details for the show at bats.co.nz. We'd love to see you there!

    Ka nui te mihi,

    Brothers & Sisters xx

Give a little and support new New Zealand Theatre…

Premiering at Bats Theatre in September 2016, this is your opportunity to be part of the whanau and bring The Fence to the Wellington community!

The Brothers & Sisters Collective believe in the significance of stories for individual and collective well-being. Set in rural Aotearoa where opportunities seem as empty as the well, The Fence is woven with the story of Rona and the Moon. This uniquely Kiwi tale features both te reo Maori and English. With a blend of fierce physicality and delicate storytelling, The Fence provides audiences with an immersive reflective experience.

Our goal is to raise $2,000.

    You can support us by:

    1. ‘Ahakoa he iti he pounamu’ - every bit counts:

The funds will go towards the set and sweat involved in building The Fence. Working across artistic mediums, the Brothers & Sisters creative vision requires a variety of materials, skill-sets and sweat to fulfil its potential.

    2. ‘Nau te rourou, naku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi’ - sponsor a ticket:

The Brothers & Sisters Collective want to engage a diverse audience and have teamed up with local NGOs to provide an opportunity for greater access to this show. This is your opportunity to give local Wellingtonians a night at the theatre. Simply add ‘sponsor a ticket’ in the comment box when you make a donation.

    NB: Tickets are $20

    3. ‘Ehara taku toa, he takitahi, he toa takitini’ - pass it on:

Share this with your family, friends and colleagues.

Make a koha by clicking donate now. You’re not giving a little, you’re giving a lot.

    Nga mihi,

    The Brothers & Sisters Crew
