Taranaki (CEC) Regional Trust is in action around our Mountain

Taranaki (CEC) oversees CRE (Christian Religious Education) and Chaplaincy (Lifewalk) for participating state schools in the Taranaki Region.

Each week, volunteer presenters teach Christian beliefs and values via the CRE programmes in primary schools. Volunteer chaplains visit schools weekly, (primary, intermediate and secondary), to walk alongside students and help their school community thrive.

Currently, there are 32 CRE teachers and 11 chaplains engaged in these roles aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of Taranaki children.

A Regional Advisor is employed part time by the Trust to promote, grow and administer these activities. Regional Advisor support is met only by donations.

Your support would be most appreciated.
