The Friends support the conservation of the garden, offer a friendly guiding service to visitors and help out in a whole range of other ways such as tending a special section of the garden.
The Friends have helped guide the Botanic Garden’s development and care for this space so cherished by Wellingtonians.
Now, the Friends are fundraising to establish a Children’s Garden, a living, outdoor
classroom where children will explore, discover and connect with the natural world.
