We open our hearts and homes to homeless dogs and puppies. Scared, exhausted, hungry and sick- we welcome them all.

We take in homeless dogs and puppies who live in our approved foster homes while we get them ready for their lovely life ahead. We desex, start vaccinations, microchip, register with NZCAR, council register, worm/flea and provide any other vet treatment the beautiful dogs and puppies require before adopting them out into forever families.

We are growing by the year! Changing more and more lives as we get bigger.

Currently we are rescuing and rehoming 250+ dogs per year

But we still need your help. With the ever increasing number of unwanted companion animals we need all the help we can get.

Thank you so much for all you do. The wee brindle pup on the left of the photo on this page is Bear. My gentle giant who turns 10years today. I got him at 9wks old as the most gorgeous wee chap and he has turned out to be just a giant baby at 50kgs. He was 1 of 3 pups, Thor, Maggie his siblings and his mum all were adopted through DC rescue also. Thank you for rescuing my boy he's been very much loved, adored member of our family.
