The Dunedin Jazz, Cabaret & Performing Arts Charitable Trust (DJCPACT) is a non-profit organization raising funds to organise the inaugural Dunedin Jazz & Cabaret Festival and related events and projects.
To do this, we need your help.
The Dunedin Jazz & Cabaret Festival vision is to present an intimate and bespoke event celebrating jazz and cabaret, utilising some of the city's unusual or iconic heritage buildings and venues, and host exceptional local, national and/or international artists. The Festival will also provide an 'umbrella' platform for additional local and/or international artists to apply and independently present their work.

A first for Dunedin and a first for New Zealand: a uniquely-conceived Festival offering audiences a vibrant and refreshing assortment of performances, workshops and collaborations to enrich and enliven the everyday.

The Dunedin Jazz, Cabaret & Performing Arts Charitable Trust is a non-profit organisation that manages the Dunedin Jazz & Cabaret Festival and similar events.
The Trust aims to produce, curate and present a Festival that is conceptually creative, has artistic integrity and, in particular, uses the Festival and similar events to develop and enhance a public awareness and appreciation of jazz, cabaret and attendant culture.
With this regard the Trust supports the development and opportunities for jazz music, cabaret-inspired performaces and the wider performing arts that includes, for example, original comedy, theatre arts, dance, poetry and independent contemporary music.
In addition, the Trust aims to help strengthen a touring circuit to the South Island.
The Trust aims to provide affordable and lively events to the public and expose the community to a range of art experiences.
The Trust was formed in 2015 to take the charitable aims and accomplishments of Dunedin-based performing arts initiative, Ad Hoc Productions, to achieve a wider scope of possibilities for the community.
