Dunedin LandSAR Search and Rescue

Description = Working under the direction of the NZ Police, Dunedin Land Search and Rescue (LandSAR) is a highly trained group of volunteers that are available night and day, 365 days a year to help search for the lost, missing and injured. Dunedin LandSAR has several specialty groups within our team, including operational search dogs and their handlers, a dedicated tracking-trained group using a mix of modern technology and prehistoric hunting techniques to find sign of the missing party, and a specialised cliff rescue team trained in vertical rescue.
