Losing a child is a deeply traumatic event.

I decided to help my community by offering free hand and foot castings, professional photos (from a range of highly skilled photographers) and paper hand and foot prints prints to grieving parents.

Castings are beautifully painted and mounted on a base with a personalised plaque with their baby's details.

I wanted to provide free of charge, a tangible special keepsake to keep the memory of their child fresh. I am aware that in the event of loss there are many expenses, and making memories is often not thought about. In fact it’s a service that most in our local community can not afford.

Features Forever Angel Casting was started after I saw an immediate need in my south Auckland community... Unfortunately, the statistics are high, and I can be called to the hospital many times per week.

I have met numerous bereaved families since 2011.

This service is very important to those who have lost their loved ones. Too often we are forced to bury our grief and move on. I would love to be able to continue to offer this service within my local area.

All of this money raised from this givealittle page, will be used towards petrol, parking, and castings materials.

While we do provide the castings completely free of charge, sometimes families would like us to also create other memories for them too... If requested, we can offer families framing options, and even create precious jewellery using their own baby's casts. Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to offer these things free of charge to families too, this is where we ask for the families to purchase these item - these items are heavily discounted as our suppliers are also on board with supporting our community too.
