Global Focus is providing funding to innovative global education projects through a grant making process. These projects continue the vision of Global Focus and ensure critical thinking in New Zealand on global issues and helps bring about positive change.

Global Focus had a reputation for producing quality education resources for young people on global issues, as well as publications for the community and international development sector. Since 2010 all government funding has been cut for these initiatives. Our first grants will be issued in 2012.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
