Grrrl Fund Arts Trust

The Grrrl Fund Arts Trust is an incubator trust to provide events (GRRRL FEST) and funding for creative women/womxn in Kirikiriroa Waikato.

Waikato

The Grrrl Fund Arts Trust (GFAT) is a registered Charitable Trust founded in 2020 by a group of passionate women in Kirikirioa who want to grow diverse representation and celebration of women and non-gender-conforming talent across the local creative arts communities.

Women/womxn pursuing vocations in the creative arts industries require a framework of support and resources to ensure they feel welcome and safe in our creative communities.

GFAT’s long-term purpose is to host annual 'GRRRL FEST Kirikiriroa' festivals whilst also providing a funding incubator for women/womxn to access resources and community support to pursue their creative endeavours.

We feel deeply about providing these supportive foundations for not only our current local creatives, but also to establish pathways for our future generations of artists in our creative communities.
