Be part of something good.

We have a goal of 2000 donors donating $20 in 2020 to support our vision of all children being able to access the Garden to Table programme. Please join us.

COVID-19 has had huge implications for Garden to Table’s projected income and our 2020 Campaign is vital to our work.

The Garden to Table programme is building NZ’s health and resilience by changing the way children approach and think about food. All around the country, we want to see children enthusiastically getting their hands dirty and learning how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal food.

Established in 2008, Garden to Table now works with thousands of primary-school-aged children all across New Zealand, helping them discover a love for fresh food and skills that will last a lifetime.

The programme is curriculum-integrated and provides real-world learning opportunities, taking learning outside the classroom.

Just $20 supports our vision of reaching every child in NZ with Garden to Table’s food education programme; getting kids in the garden and kitchen, growing, preparing, cooking and sharing meals they make, together.

Everyone who donates $20, or multiples of twenty, whether it be a one-off donation or monthly, can come along for the ride with us for the year– you'll get seasonal updates about Garden to Table's work in schools, garden tips, recipes and special opportunities. If you’d like to set up a regular donation or want to receive GTT’s enews, make sure you leave your email address. Or email us at info@gardentotable.org.nz.

Every child in NZ deserves to learn good food skills. We need your help to make that happen.

Thank you for your support.

More about us

The Garden to Table programme is helping children all across Aotearoa New Zealand build resilience and essential life skills, by learning how to grow, prepare and enjoy fresh food. Our children need these skills now more than ever, but we need your help.

All across NZ funding bodies are closing to new applications, corporates are putting a hold on their donations, and generous, individual donors have become our lifeline. Garden to Table doesn't receive any government funding, although our work, building resilience and life-skills in children, has never been more important. Your support will help us to be here for the nearly 20,000 primary school children we work with each week, at this important time.
