At Home4All, we are thrilled to have the Duo-Bike, a revolutionary way of side-by-side cycling for our visitors, especially those in the early stages of dementia, to explore the stunning cycle paths of the Kapiti Coast. Imagine the freedom and joy of cycling, with the added comfort of having one of our dedicated cycling volunteers by your side. Our visitors can pedal at their own pace while our volunteers handle the steering, making every ride a delightful and safe experience. Plus, the bike's electric support ensures that cycling remains a pleasant and effortless exercise.
Since its arrival in June 2023, the Duo-Bike has become a daily favorite among our visitors. Each ride brings a burst of fun and pleasure, coupled with the benefits of light exercise. Don't just take our word for it—see the smiles and joy in action by watching our YouTube video: YouTube Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyEUc_5zuSg).
As Home4All continues to grow, we want to ensure that every visitor has the chance to experience the magic of the Duo-Bike. To achieve this, we are launching a fundraising campaign to acquire a trailer for the Duo-Bike. This addition will allow us to offer bike rides to two more visitors at the same time, ensuring that everyone stays active and engaged. Check out how the trailer seamlessly integrates with the Duo-Bike in this Van Raam promotion video: Van Raam Promotion Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uONwz7SxD8M).
