Project "Hospice Nepal' c/o Fairfield Rotary Club

Our aim is to provide a purpose built hospice & palliative care training centre for adults & children living in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Waikato

Project “Hospice Nepal’ is a Rotary Club Project to build a 25-bed hospice for adults and children living in the Kathmandu valley area of Nepal.

Our hope is that the hospice will also serve as a ‘National Palliative Care Training Centre” for local medical staff, nurses and health workers, providing services that will reach hundreds of people out in the Nepal rural communities.

A suitable piece of land has recently been identified, and we have managed to raise $200k USD, but we need to raise an additional $350k USD to secure its purchase. Following the purchase, our team will raise additional funds for the build and fit out of the new hospice facility. We expect that the total project will be a $1m USD undertaking.

Please watch our short video which describes the project and should you have any questions or require further information, our contact details are shown at the end of the video. Thank you!
