Hospice is not a building; it is a philosophy of care.
Wellington
Hospice Wairarapa offers a wide range of programmes and services to support the terminally ill and their families throughout our region, helping them to make the most of their lives so they may live every moment in whatever way is important to them.
We have a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wairarapa DHB to complement the medical services provided under their Kahukura Palliative Care Service umbrella.
We also work alongside other organisations assisting patients with life limiting illnesses, such as the Cancer Society, and other organisations such as respiratory or neurological support groups.
Hospice is not just a building; it's a philosophy of care.
If you or anyone you know have recently recieved a terminal diagnosis, we are here to help and support you.
Hospice care is available to all palliative patients and their caregivers, free of charge and regardless of age, race, religion or financial circumstances.
We recieve no government funding so rely on grants and on generousity of the public to ensure we can continue to offer our free programmes and services to all those dealing with any kind of terminal illness in our community.
Life is Short - Live Every Moment
All funds raised will be returned directly to Hospice Wairarapa to ensure we can continue to offer our suite of programmes and services free of charge to those dealing with all kinds of terminal illness in our community.
