Programmes Family Support

We work to -

* Strengthen families and whanau

* Support families and whanau to be violence and abuse free and to provide a safe environment for their children and young people

* Assist families and whanau to develop the skills and knowledge they need to care for their children and young people

Established in 1989 with 4 staff, the agency developed a professional social work service with considerable expertise in engaging with families with complex needs. In 2007 we began using jigsaw whanganui as the agency’s trading name. We now have over 20 team members working alongside 750 local families.
