Life Education Trust

Life Education inspires over 250,000 kiwi kids each year to make positive choices.

Wellington

Life Education is a charity that inspires children and young people to make positive choices, so they can live full and healthy lives.

Today our young people face a lot of challenges, including: obesity, substance use, mental health and well-being and bullying. The decisions we make as young people can dramatically affect how we live our lives in the future – and this is why Life Education exists. Through education we help students to understand how decisions they make today can affect their future health and well-being.

Every year we teach over 250,000 children at primary and intermediate schools through our Healthy Harold Programme.

We also visit high schools with Smashed Project, a performance and workshop which educates year nine students about the dangers of underage drinking. In 2019 this was performed to 20,450 students from 94 schools around the country.
