Manchester House Social Services is a walk-in social services organisation offering on-demand services to the Feilding community and surrounding districts in their time of need. We responded to over 20,000 inquiries and requests for help in 2018-19

Our mission is to provide non-judgemental, non-discriminatory, compassionate and caring support to those in need. We aim to be a leading social services organisation that in partnership with Iwi and other social service providers, effectively and appropriately addresses the needs of individuals, families and our community.

We have responding to the evolving needs of the Feilding and Districts Community for over 40 years and need your generosity to continue doing what we do.

At our social services centre we offer:

- A financial mentoring service

- Counselling

- Social work

- A family support worker

- An emergency food service (Foodbank)

- Information and social service desk

- Mediation

- Court ordered supervision

We also operate Manchester House Opportunity Shop, a before and after school programme (ASAP) and the Senior Hub.

All of these services are vital to the Feilding and districts community and we need your help to continue offering them.

Use of funds

Funds raised will be used to allow Manchester House to continue doing all that it does for the community. Funds raised will be used to support the food bank, counselling services, social work services, budgeting services, our parenting group and the senior leisure and learning centre. Funds raised will allow for the continuation of an Alcohol and Drug Worker and a Family Support Worker.
